What are your waiting times compared to the NHS?

We purposely keep our case loads small in order to offer our patients shorter waiting times and the flexibility and high quality you would expect from the private sector. This means you can access services when you need to, rather than having to wait weeks or even months before you can see a therapist.

Will I have to come to a clinic?

No, we will come to a place that is convenient for you; your child’s home, school or nursery. In our experience children are more relaxed and more likely to learn and make progress in environments where they are familiar and comfortable.

How much does therapy cost?

This will depend on the amount and frequency of therapy that is required. Following assessment, recommendations will be made and discussed with you. A course of treatment may then commence.

The benefit of choosing Let’s Talk is that you are in control. We currently offer weekly or fortnightly therapy sessions and monthly or six weekly review appointments. Therapy can be ceased on your request.

Let’s Talk do not have hidden charges. All planning time, individualised resource making, reports and written targets are included in the sessional cost.

Each session is a full hour.

What training packages do you offer?

What qualifications do you have and how do I know you provide a good quality service?

All practicing Speech & Language Therapists (private and NHS) in the UK are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Let’s Talk Speech & Language Therapists are also members of RCSLT and ASLTIP. These professional bodies set and ensure therapists are working within a required standards. Additionally Let’s Talk also receives over 60% of their referrals through direct recommendations from existing or past clients (see testimonials).
